Product Description

MEDIHONEY Calcium Alginate Dressing is a novel honey based dressing for minor abrasions, lacerations, minor cuts and minor scalds and burns. The dressing contains 95% Active Leptospermum Honey and can be used to cover a shallow wound, while providing a moist environment conducive to wound healing. Leptospermum Honey has been shown to have several properties which ist in promoting an optimal healing environment. It has a low pH, and has been shown to help lower the overall wound pH, which is beneficial to wounds
